Easier said than done!
Yes, I want to take more photos but I am not a professional and so like many others I have to squeeze my photography between work and home life. More photographs yes, but I also don't want to go around snapping at everything I see, I want to take meaningful and planned photos where I don't have to do a massive cull and then spend hours post processing pretending I am "Mr Lightroom" when I get home from a shoot.
Living in Thailand there is an absolute abundance of things to photograph, temples, beaches, wildlife, waterfalls, street life and the list goes on. Therein lies the problem. There is so much to photograph I have to learn to focus (no pun intended) and plan what I want to shoot and find my own style, approach and genre.
I really want to stop taking just "nice" photographs, which are basically snaps, I need to get creative and produce images that are more fine art than the general stuff I am doing at the moment.
I've got a lot to get on with although not sure where to start. This blog should help keep me on track.
